Everything you ever wanted to know about a Jetter Truck but didn’t even know to ask
JB Plumbing has been fixing pipes, drains, toilets and sewers for 30 years. We specialize in residential and commercial properties in the LA Basin, Inland Empire and San Gabriel Valley. Along the way, we’ve used the same type of high quality equipment that most other residential and commercial plumbers use. But, recently, we have added a specialized piece of equipment to our clog-cleaning arsenal which allows us to quickly and efficiently clear even the most stubborn clogs in homes, commercial properties, apartment buildings, and municipal sewer systems: Enter the JB Jetter Truck!
What is a Jetter Truck?
Whether you refer to it as a Sewer Jetter, a Hydro Jetter or a Water Jetter, a Jetter Truck is a powerful drain-cleaning machine which uses high pressure water jets to break through obstructions in a breeze. Master Plumber Jeff Belleville built the truck for JB Plumbing because it combines simplicity of use, safety, and efficiency in an eco-friendly manner, using nothing but the power of water to push out stubborn clogs and clean pipes.
Mounted onto a truck which uses the power of up 1,500 gallons of water for large sewer cleaning jobs, the JB Jetter Truck contains a pump, motor, hose reel and a large assortment of nozzles for virtually any size pipe. The truck uses high-pressure water to scrub the sides of dirty drains, breaking apart clogs and flushing out residue in the process. For large jobs, hoses are threaded deep into a sewer pipe at the end of a thin, flexible water line. The head contains tiny jets which dispense hot water at knife-like pressure of up to 4,000 Pounds Per Square Inch (PSI).
Why Homeowners Should Care
Let’s face it. When it comes to plumbing, you’re probably like most people – who want to turn on the faucet so clean water comes out, flush the toilet so waste goes down, and use the faucet so water drains without backing up into the sink. And you likely want to do all of that without having to think about it. Right? So, why should you care that a San Gabriel Valley-based plumber has built a custom Jetter Truck? Because if you have problems with any of the above, this sophisticated piece of equipment, manned by qualified professionals, can easily eliminate the problem so you can get on with your life!
Why Commercial Property Owners and Facility Mangers Should Care about Jetting
If you own manage a residential or commercial property, or oversee facilities management for a municipality, you’re probably like most private property owners, who want to manage their building without having to deal with clogged sinks, drains, pipes or backed up toilets. And, for the same reasons the JB Jetter Truck works on homes, it is perfectly equipped to deal with the most stubborn commercial plumbing-related problems.
